Your coin's verified sites
A verified site is a domain you proved you own for your coin page, with one DNS record. Chain Daddy uses your verified sites in three places:
| Where | What a verified site gets |
|---|---|
| Sign in with Chain Daddy | Your site's sign-in screen says Verified · the site of $YOURCOIN instead of Unverified site |
| Apps on your own site | Apps that ask for a wallet signature run only on your verified sites |
| Checkout on your own site | A checkout started from your site returns only to your verified sites |
A verified domain covers its subdomains: verifying yourcoin.com also covers www.yourcoin.com and shop.yourcoin.com. A subdomain does not cover its parent.
Verify ownership of a site
You need the Owner or Manager role on the coin page.
In your coin manager, click your coin's logo and ticker at the top, then the gear in the Select Chain window (Chain Admin Settings). Verified sites lists your sites and shows your record, in the form
chaindaddy-verify=cd-verify-…, with a copy button. The record is the same for every domain you add, and different on every chain your coin is on.Add it to your domain's DNS as a TXT record on the domain itself (the host is
@or blank in most DNS settings, not a subdomain):yourcoin.com TXT "chaindaddy-verify=cd-verify-…"If the domain already has TXT records (for email, for example), add this one beside them. Keep the record in place: Chain Daddy checks it again from time to time.
Type the domain under Add a site and press Verify. Chain Daddy looks the record up and adds the site to the list. A new DNS record can take a while to show; press Verify again later if it is not found yet.
Each site in the list has a status line (Verified, or Record missing since …), Check again to look the record up now, and Remove.
From a script, the same steps are three calls made with your signed-in session (an API key alone cannot change a coin page's sites). chain is your coin page's chain, and chainId its numeric chain id (send the same one on every call: the record is made for it; leave it out on Solana):
| Step | Call |
|---|---|
| Your record and your sites | GET /api/v2/registration/{crownId}/naming/dns?chain=base&chainId=8453 |
| Check a site | POST /api/v2/registration/{crownId}/naming/dns/verify?chain=base with {"domain":"yourcoin.com","chainId":8453} |
| Remove a site | DELETE /api/v2/registration/{crownId}/naming/dns/yourcoin.com?chain=base |
When a site stops counting
- You remove the record. Chain Daddy checks every verified site's record every few hours. A site whose record has been missing for more than 7 days stops counting until you put it back and check again. A DNS provider that is briefly unreachable does not count as missing.
- The coin page changes hands. A site counts for apps and checkout only while the wallet that verified it (or a wallet linked to it) still owns or manages the coin page. After a sale, the new owner verifies their own sites. The sign-in mark is DNS proof alone, so it stays while the record does.
- You remove the site.
An older site, verified before Chain Daddy recorded who verified it, keeps the sign-in mark. To use one for apps or checkout, press Check again on it once: that records who verified it.
How many sites
Up to 10 sites on the free plan, and 50 on a paid plan. Checking again a site you already have never counts against the limit.
Not the same as a verified website link
The Website link on your coin page has its own check badge, proved with a _chaindaddy TXT record or a meta tag (Social Verification). That badge tells visitors the link is yours. It does not make the site a verified site here: for sign-in, apps and checkout, add the chaindaddy-verify= record above.
