Status
This page checks, from your browser, the three addresses a site built on Chain Daddy depends on. It runs when the page opens.
What is checked
- API:
https://api.chaindaddy.io/health. The API answers and reports itself healthy. - JavaScript library:
https://js.chaindaddy.io/v1/cd.js. The script file is served. - Apps on your site:
https://embed.chaindaddy.io/embed-host/v1/build.json. The embed host answers.
With JavaScript off, nothing above runs. Open the three addresses yourself: each answers with HTTP 200 when it is up.
Reading a result
- Up: the address answered, and the reply was the expected one.
- Reachable: the address answered, and this page could not read the reply. The embed host always shows this, because it sends no header that lets another site read it. The API shows it when you open this page from an address other than docs.chaindaddy.io.
- Down: no answer within 7 seconds, an error status, or an API that reports itself unhealthy.
A check runs from your browser on your network. Down here can also mean your network, a browser extension or a firewall is blocking the address. Try another network before you conclude it is us.
This page checks that each address answers. It does not test a sign-in, a payment or an app.
When something is down
- What's New lists what shipped, newest first. Look there for a fix.
- To report an outage, message us on Telegram or Discord, or email support@chaindaddy.io. Say which row is down and the time shown under the list.
