Use your own domain with your coin
Your coin page lives at chaindaddy.io/yourcoin and at its short address, yourcoin.crown.info. Chain Daddy does not serve the coin page itself on a domain of yours. Two things work today with a domain you own, and neither needs anything from us.
Forward your domain to your coin page
At the registrar where you bought the domain, turn on domain forwarding (some call it URL forwarding or a redirect) and set the target to your coin page:
https://chaindaddy.io/yourcoinA visitor who types yourcoin.com lands on your coin page, and the address bar then shows chaindaddy.io. Every registrar offers this at no charge. To open your coin's page on one chain, add the chain to the address, as in https://chaindaddy.io/yourcoin/base.
Do not choose "masked" or "framed" forwarding. That option keeps your domain in the address bar by showing our page inside a frame on a page of the registrar's. Chain Daddy pages refuse to be shown inside another site's frame, so the visitor sees a blank page. Choose a plain forward (a permanent or 301 redirect).
Put your coin on a page of your own
Build a page on your domain with any site builder, and add your coin to it:
- Paste one script tag and one element for your coin's card, and one element for each app: Apps on your own site.
- Verify the domain for your coin page with one DNS record, so that apps which use a wallet run there and the sign-in screen shows your Verified mark: Your coin's verified sites.
The page is yours: your design, your address in the address bar. Anything that touches a wallet opens in a Chain Daddy window, so no wallet is ever connected to your site.
