Crowned token lists

Chain Daddy publishes the tokens it has crowned as token lists in the Uniswap token-list format, the one wallets, DEXs and explorers import. Anyone may use them. No key is needed.

ListURL
Every EVM chainhttps://api.chaindaddy.io/api/v2/public/tokenlists/crowned.json
One chainhttps://api.chaindaddy.io/api/v2/public/tokenlists/{chainId}/crowned.json, e.g. …/8453/crowned.json for Base

What is in a list

A token is in the lists while all of these hold:

  • Its registration (its crown) is active: not released, and not lapsed for a low heartbeat.
  • Its coin page is verified, and Chain Daddy has not removed it.
  • Its heartbeat score is above zero. A token that can never be bought again scores zero, so it leaves the lists.

When a token stops meeting one of them it leaves the lists within about ten minutes. Solana tokens are not in the lists, because the format names a chain by its EVM chain ID.

  • address is checksummed.
  • logoURI is the registration's icon, served by Chain Daddy.
  • crownId is the registration's ID on its chain; the public reads take it.
  • pageUrl is the coin's page on Chain Daddy.

Versions

Each list has its own version, and it moves the way the format says:

ChangeVersion
A token leavesmajor (2.0.0)
A token joinsminor (1.1.0)
Only a token's details change (its name, its decimals)patch (1.0.1)

timestamp is when the list last changed, not when you fetched it.

Caching and errors

A list is cached for about five minutes, at the edge and by Chain Daddy, and is the same for every caller. It answers Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *, so a browser can fetch it without credentials.

  • 404: a chain with no crowned token (a token list holds at least one token), a chain Chain Daddy does not serve, or a chain ID spelled any other way than its plain number.
  • 503: the list could not be built just now. Try again.
